At Colorado’s annual Ukrainian Festival on August 19 in the town of Lakewood, near Denver, the Ukrainian Catholic University Foundation was represented by Foundation Board Director Anne Chermak Dillen.
The day-long festival, organized by the non-profit Ukrainians of Colorado, drew about 2,000 guests to enjoy great performances, delicious food, beautiful arts and crafts, and wonderful friendship. Visitors also heard from local dignitaries and non-profits about the need to support Ukraine. Anne spoke to many guests about UCU and distributed informational materials and donation cards.
This was a great opportunity to spread the word and raise awareness about UCU to a wider audience. We look forward to future opportunities like this in the state of Colorado.
