On March 23, twelve students from Fordham University will be going to the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) for a one-week Study Abroad internship. Roman Vaskiv, a representative of UCU and the Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation, on March 7 gave the students an orientation lecture about travel to Ukraine.

The students will visit youth and non-profit organizations working with people in need and handicapped children as part of the social program. They will have classes in history, politics, and Ukrainian traditions taught by UCU professors. As part of the program, the students will have a tour of the city and a day-trip to the Carpathian Mountains.
