This year’s Perelaz Folk Ball will feature two inspiring guests whose lives reflect the courage, resilience, and spirit of Ukraine.

Keynote Speaker: Roman Lozynsky

We are honored to welcome Roman Lozynsky as our keynote speaker.

A Ukrainian Catholic University alumnus, UCU Senator, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, and serviceman in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Roman has dedicated his life to serving his country. After Russia’s full-scale invasion, he volunteered to defend Ukraine alongside close friends, some of whom made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives.
Their memory continues to inspire his work to build a stronger Ukraine through service, leadership, and education.

Musical Guest: Maria Burmaka

One of Ukraine’s most beloved singer-songwriters and a People’s Artist of Ukraine, Maria has inspired generations with music that blends folk, pop, and rock while celebrating the heart and resilience of the Ukrainian people.
