Human rights defender, civic activist, founding member of the human rights organization Ukrainian Helsinki Group, dissident and political prisoner during Soviet times, founder and head of the Amnesty movement in Ukraine (1991-1997), philosopher, religious studies expert, publicist. And our community has the great privilege to note that Mr. Marynovych is Vice-Rector of Ukrainian Catholic University for University Mission.
