Dear Supporter of Ukrainian Catholic University:

As we pull together as a global community to slow the spread of COVID-19, let’s keep one another in our prayers.  It’s a difficult time, to be sure — as one friend commented: “This is a bit more Lent than I was expecting this year!”  But we will get through it together.

I also want to provide you with an update on how UCU is adapting to the pandemic. UCU, like all colleges and universities in Ukraine closed until April 3 in response to the Coronavirus. It’s a challenging time for all institutions of higher learning, and UCU is no exception.  But, like universities throughout the world, UCU is embracing on-line learning and adjusting well to the challenging conditions.

This brief video, in Ukrainian with English subtitles, will give you a flavor of the current situation at UCU.  Thanks again for all you do to make UCU possible.

Sincerely,

Taras Szmagala, Jr.
