The Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) accepted 438 entrants for its bachelor’s degree programs, out of a potential 460 spaces. And their average score on standardized entrance exams was 189.2 (out of 200), almost 1.5 points higher than last year.
The students come from all over Ukraine and this year the number of students from the Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions was noticeably higher than last year. One out of four new students come from outside Halychyna (far western Ukraine), and 65% are women and 35% men. The most popular three programs are Philology, Ethics-Politics-Economics, and Computer Studies, and the new bachelor’s program in law has 50 entrants.
