DOU, Ukraine’s largest IT association, has named the Applied Sciences Faculty of Ukrainian Catholic University “the best IT college of 2023.”

On February 28, a ceremony was held in Kyiv to honor initiatives and projects which bring victory closer, form Ukraine’s IT community, and are engines for the country’s technological development.

“This award is thanks to the joint efforts of professors, staff, students, graduates, and partners of our IT program, the UCU Applied Sciences Faculty. It was a special pleasure to see our graduates and professors among winners and nominees in other nominations. And we never tire of thanking and supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine!” So said Yaroslav Prytula, UCU Senior Vice-Rector and Founding Dean of the UCU Applied Sciences Faculty.

On the short list of nominations were non-profit foundations run by UCU graduates, Dzyga’s Paw and On Guard UA, in the category “the best initiatives by IT specialists which bring victory closer.”

Among the companies and startups which won in their categories are many friends and partners of the UCU Applied Sciences Faculty.

UCU thanks the DOU community and all its colleagues and partners for their trust!
